We are looking for an independent, self-motivated postdoctoral fellow with a strong interest in translational cancer research. The study is a continuation of an ongoing project to understand the molecular mechanisms of FLT3 signaling in acute myeloid leukemia (Kazi and Rönnstrand (2019) Physiol Rev 99(3):1433-1466; Rupar et al (2018) Sci Rep 8(1):6405; Marhäll et al (2017) Sci Rep 7(1):13734) as well as in normal physiology.
The successful applicant must have a solid background in cancer research, primary cell culture and/or complex cell culture systems, and mouse models.
The laboratory is located at Medicon Village in the university city Lund. We offer fellowship for two years and the applicant will receive assistance from us to find accommodation to stay for the first year. Lund is a friendly city where you will meet people from different cultures and everyone speaks English. Our research environment is also full of international students, postdocs, and PIs.
